   For all I know, it is not really beautiful, I just don't have the 'free-will' to think otherwise.

      Freewill made us human. A peaceful and beautiful world is where everyone exercise their freewill to CHOOSE only good.

   Short answer- no
   
   Free Will means the ability to choose to do good, but it also means the ability to choose poorly, make mistakes or even choose evil. It's messy and complicated and varys widely- just like human beings
   
   A world without Free Will would be peaceful; the peace of the grave. Without Free Will, there would be no good, because you can't choose good if you have no choice

      think we were both commenting on my answer at the same time. If bad options are taken the only ones left are good. Leaving the only option, what type of good do you want to do. If that makes sense.

      Move to a different location, get counseling, see a psychologist, learn people skills, make more achievements, learn from mistakes, make gardening a project, re-decorate the house, brighten your home, kick out those depressing family members, etc.

      Sounds like you described efforts to create a more peaceful home environment for yourself. Creating a beautiful, peaceful world, however, will require the help of another 6 billion souls with similar goals. :0)

      Yes there are some who say the lack of Free Will would be a Hell on Earth because our souls are created free by God--free to choose between good and evil--and without that our actions would be meaningless.

   Ok so as usual I disagree with the majority. As an atheist I believe that no one is currently in control of our world except us. When it comes down to it, if there was a way to have a real God who took control of all bad I would be okay with it. My thought is what God would allow all this bad. A real God would surely protect his creations.  When you think about it the only "free Will" that would be taken is the "free will" to do bad. I think I could handle that. We live in a world where people justify their bad ways by using their "morals" and opinions. I think I could welcome living in a world where we all were put in our places and only lived for good.

      I don't believe that, for good to be possible, we must also have evil; but I do believe that, to be able to choose good, we must have the option to choose otherwise.

      I find using the word 'atheist' and 'believe' in the same sentence a bit strange, but I like your answer nevertheless I like the phrase "we all were put in our places" because that is another word for Christian humility, which I do support.

      atheist does not mean 'not believing'. In fact, they believe as much as Christians do, just not on God or Christ. I love this answer. I just want to say that it is really hard to tell what a REAL GOD would do or not.

    Wouldn't peace be wonderful?  But, nah, stubborn free-will is in my soul.  When I'm pressed to do something someone else's way, I've got a knee jerk rejection of it. 
    
    So I like sitting on the porch in the evening at the ranch, listening to the bull frogs at the creek, watching the cats chase mice, checking out baby foxes in a rock pile, seeing a mama deer jumping back and forth across a fence to show the fawn how to do it.  My mind stills and my heart finds peace.

    Free will can get quite deep as how far the measures could go w/ o it... But beautiful and peace would b awesome!! Does this mean no jealousy or lack of trust?? I do hate being told what to do thou?? Hmmm?? Ok that's my final answer! Comprendo?
